i've been tarting up my Dad's house to sell today so I know how you feel - i'm completely knackered - have scraped and weeded and painted and mowed and washed and scrubbed and hoovered and nearly died from gas inhalation ; just kept telling myself it was worth it ( I'm just waiting for the viewers to cancel now ! )

My sister knocked the ( gas ) cooker knobs at my( empty ) Dad's house 6 days ago; did'nt think to 'turn them off' as she thought that the gas was off at the mains..

I went down there this morning not knowing what I know now; opened the door and nearly passed out from the fumes and...... phoned the emergency gas people ! Stupid, I know.
Luckily I was'nt blasted across the Somerset countryside today, but it would've been a spectacular ending, would'nt it ?

Regarding the transfiguration; the subject is covered in a ( I think it was a small green) book that I can't remember the name of it was quite an old one.
You were right with your guess though, you know them so well... The figures looked like Moses ( and can't remember either) but just represented their faithfulness , hence the likeness. They would'nt dwell on that bit very much with me surprise, surprise.

you sound very happy with your boyfriend and that's great- it's good to have someone that you feel so connected to. Your friend sounds like she's been making a big effort to keep in touch with you though, I wonder why it feels different when you see her - do you think perhaps you're subconciously pushing her away as your boyfriend takes up most of your time?
Sometimes when a relationship is new we want to spend all of our time with that person and our friends naturally, take a back seat. All I would worry about is that if for some reason it dosnt work out between you and your boyfriend you may want and need your friend back in your life; and that may be difficult if you push her away. I think striking a balance is the best way- if you go out with your friend and do something together the conversation will probably flow again.
Years ago I got through a fair few boyfriends none of them lasted- but I still have all my friends that saw me through each break-up, family disaster, death and the JW religion- and i'm going out with three of them for a party this weekend- just us- no partners- I guess what i'm trying to say is look after them, i'm glad I did...

mulan called me yesterday afternoon to tell me her dad had suffered a stroke.
i did talk to my dad last night and he seemed to think that grandpa was going to be ok. i had a birthday party with nine little girls all afternoon and was completely out of touch as a result.. i think she could use a hug, don't you?.
